Patricia Glatzel Clough

M.S., ATR, LPC, CSAS

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Art Therapist who approaches counseling from a holistic standpoint, by incorporating cognitive understanding and emotional support with the creative self. While participating in therapy does not require you to engage in the experiential arts, I do encourage self-expression to release blocked emotion within sensitive surroundings. Some of the important areas of work include building self-esteem, self-identity, and helping to overcome deficits such as anger, communication, anxiety, separation of the family unit, depression, and substance abuse counseling. Being able to recognize your strengths and building on them helps encourage personal empowerment. Therapy includes counseling with children ages 3 and up, adolescents, adults, family therapy, couples counseling, and group counseling. Art therapy helps children and adults to explore their emotions and feelings at a quicker pace than talk therapy and offers a chance to play! This is a BIG deal for the kids!

As a clinical intern, my primary goal is to ensure that every client truly feels heard. When working with me, you’ll find a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where your thoughts, feelings, and experiences are respected. Whether you’re facing a difficult moment, feeling stuck, or simply want someone to listen, I’m here for you. Together, we will work at your pace to build self-confidence, deepen understanding, and foster compassion for yourself and those around you. My approach is rooted in empathy and trust, with your comfort and safety always at the center. If you are ready to take that first step, I would be honored to walk this path with you and help you pursue growth, healing, and hope.
